Effective date: 1 August 2026. This Policy explains how Donaify uses cookies and similar technologies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels,

tags, software development kits, and device identifiers. They can remember settings, keep accounts secure,

measure performance, and support optional analytics or advertising.

2. Consent and controls

Strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent where legally permitted. Optional cookies are

used only after consent where required. You can accept, reject, or customize optional categories through our

cookie banner and can change browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may

prevent login, donations, or other features from working.

3. Third-party technologies

Payment, identity, fraud, hosting, analytics, communications, and embedded-content providers may place or

read technologies under their own policies. The providers actually enabled on the website should be identified

in the live cookie preference panel. Donaify should not list a provider in this Policy until that provider is

integrated and active.

4. Do Not Track and similar signals

Some browsers send Do Not Track or global privacy signals. We honor signals where required by applicable

law and supported by our consent tools; otherwise, browser signals may not change all processing.

5. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as technologies change. Questions may be sent to support@donaify.com.

Refund Policy

Effective date: 1 August 2026. Donations are generally final, subject to the limited exceptions below.

1. When a refund may be considered

 Unauthorized or fraudulent use of a card or payment method.

 A duplicate donation made because of an accidental repeat or technical issue.

 A confirmed payment-processing or platform error.

 Removal of a campaign because Donaify confirms fraud, material misrepresentation, or a serious policy

breach.

 A refund required by applicable law, a court, a card network, an issuing bank, or a payment provider.

 Another exceptional circumstance accepted by Donaify in its reasonable discretion.

2. When refunds are normally not available

 The donor changes their mind.

 The campaign does not reach its target under the default flexible-funding model.

 The donor disagrees with a lawful campaign update or outcome that remains materially consistent with the

stated purpose.

 The organizer has already received the funds and no legal, processor, or fraud-based refund right applies.

 The donor failed to read the campaign page, fee disclosure, or these policies.

3. How to request a refund

Email support@donaify.com as soon as possible and, where reasonably possible, within seven days of the

donation. Include the donor name, email, date, amount, campaign URL, transaction reference, reason, and

supporting evidence. Do not send full card numbers or card security codes.

4. Review and timing

We may request identity or transaction verification and consult the organizer, payment processor, card issuer,

or bank. A request does not guarantee a refund. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method

where possible. Provider and bank processing times are outside our control.

5. Fees and currency

A refunded amount may exclude fees that a third party does not return, except where law or card rules require

otherwise. If a donor's account is not denominated in USD, exchange-rate differences or issuer fees may

cause the credited amount to differ from the original local-currency charge.

6. Chargebacks

Contact us before starting a chargeback so we can investigate. Filing a knowingly false chargeback is

prohibited. We may share transaction, campaign, account, and communication records with processors,

banks, card networks, and authorities to respond to disputes.

7. Effect on campaign balances

Refunds, reversals, chargebacks, retrieval fees, and related losses may be deducted from campaign balances,

reserves, future donations, or amounts payable to the organizer. If the balance becomes negative, the

organizer may be required to reimburse Donaify.
