Effective date: 1 August 2026. Read this disclosure before creating a campaign or making a donation.

1. Campaign information risk

Campaign content is supplied by organizers. Although Donaify may review identity and supporting evidence,

we cannot independently verify every statement, future event, estimate, medical claim, relationship, or

intended expense. Fraud or misuse may occur despite controls.

2. Donation outcome risk

A donation does not guarantee that the campaign will reach its goal, that the beneficiary will obtain a desired

result, that circumstances will not change, or that funds will produce the expected impact. Donations do not

create ownership, repayment, profit, interest, or investment rights.

3. Organizer and beneficiary risk

An organizer or beneficiary may act dishonestly, become unavailable, dispute authority, change plans, suffer

incapacity, or fail to provide updates. Donaify may hold, refund, redirect, or otherwise resolve funds only where

permitted by law and provider arrangements.

4. Payment and chargeback risk

Card payments can be declined, delayed, reversed, disputed, or charged back. A successful authorization

may later fail to settle. Refunds and chargebacks may reduce campaign balances after donations appear on a

campaign page or after a payout request.

5. Payout and banking risk

Payouts depend on identity checks, banks, correspondent institutions, providers, sanctions screening, country

coverage, accurate details, and legal requirements. Delays, fees, return of funds, account freezes, or

unavailability may occur. No payout date is guaranteed.

6. Currency risk

Donaify uses USD. Donors and recipients using another currency may face conversion rates and fees set by

banks or providers. Exchange-rate movements can change the local-currency value of a donation or payout.

7. Privacy and publicity risk

Campaign pages are public. Stories, names, images, health details, and updates may be copied, indexed,

shared, or retained by third parties. Publishing sensitive information can create privacy, safety, reputational, or

discrimination risks.

8. Cybersecurity and service risk

Online services can experience outages, errors, phishing, malware, credential theft, data breaches, provider

failure, or unauthorized access. Use strong unique passwords, multi-factor authentication where available, and

verify communications.

9. Legal, regulatory, and tax risk

Fundraising, donations, payment collection, cross-border transfers, charity solicitation, sanctions, taxes, and

data protection vary by country and may change. A campaign may be restricted or removed, and funds may

be held, refunded, or reported to comply with law, banks, processors, or authorities.

10. Third-party risk

Payment processors, wallet providers, identity services, banks, hosts, and other suppliers operate under

separate terms. Their decisions, outages, fees, holds, security incidents, or policy changes may affect Donaify

services.
